Oratorio Adds Italy Gr3

Monday, 10th October 2011

Also in Italy overnight, triple European Gr1-winning shuttler Oratorio (Danehill-Mahrah, by Vaguely Noble) added a group success when Irish-bred 3YO filly Temida (Oratorio-Interim Payment, by Red Ransom) scored a half-length victory against older rivals in the €88,000 (A$121,000) Gr3 Premio Verziere (2000m) for fillies & mares at San Siro. Temida (ridden by Marco Esposito for trainer Miltcho Mintchev) defeated Irish-bred 4YO mare Toi Et Moi (Galileo-Di Moi Oui, by Warning) & German-bred 4YO mare Not For Sale (Monsun-North America, by Pivotal). Previously this season Temida also notched placings in both August’s Italian Listed EBF Terme Di Merano (2200m) at Merano & June’s German 1000 Guineas (1600m) at Dusseldorf.
