French Sire Layman Moves To Sweden

Japanese-bred 2004 French champion juvenile colt & last season’s leading French 1st-season sire Layman (Sunday Silence-Laiyl, by Nureyev) “will stand at Ljungstorps Stud in southern Sweden next season” €2,500 (A$3,400) reported racingpost.com. Layman (who will be the 1st son of Sunday Silence based in Sweden) has stood each of his 5 seasons at stud to date at Haras du Logis in France, most recently at €4,000 (A$5,500). From 2 crops of racing age, Layman has sired 27 winners.
