1st Stakes-Winner For Freshman Sire Lawman

In France overnight, Irish-based multiple Gr1-winning 7YO freshman stallion Lawman (Invincible Spirit-Laramie, by Gulch) recorded his 1st stakes-winner when Irish-bred juvenile colt Loi (Lawman-Lockup, by Inchinor) scored a 0.75-length victory in the €80,000 (A$110,000) Gr3  Prix De Conde (1800m) for 2YOs at Longchamp. Loi (ridden by Olivier Peslier for trainer Jean-Marie Beguigne) defeated the gelding Yang Tse Kiang (Kahyasi-Mikalia, by Kaldoun) & the colt Lidari (Acclamation-Laxlova, by Linamix). Loi was a €40,000 (A$55,000) weanling at the 2009 Arqana December Sale & subsequently a €90,000 (A$123,000) yearling at the 2010 Arqana August Sale. Overall he now has 2 wins & a placing from 3 starts for €60,600 (A$83,000) earnings.
