4 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong yesterday, 4 Australian-bred horses scored at Sha Tin:

  • 4YO gelding Sunny Sky (Dane Shadow-Naughty Girl, by Honour And Glory) won over 2000m for trainer Danny Shum. Sunny Sky was a $75,000 yearling consigned by Kitchwin Hills at the 2009 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 5YO gelding Redoute Star (Redoute’s Choice-Significant Moment, by Bletchingly) won over 1800m for trainer Tony Cruz. Redoute Star was a $710,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 7YO gelding Wasabisabi (Fusaichi Pegasus-Patronella, by Mister C) won over 1200m for Australian trainer David Hall. Wasabisabi was a $140,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 4YO gelding Tuxedo (Fusaichi Pegasus-Russian Flair, by Nureyev) won over 1200m on his Hong Kong debut for Australian trainer John Size. Tuxedo was a 75,000 weanling at the 2008 Magic Millions National Sale & subsequently passed-in for $55,000 as a yearling at the 2009 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
