In Macau, 7 Australian bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 4YO gelding Luen Yat Everwin (Encosta de Lago-Snowdonia, by Peintre Celebre) won over 1200m for trainer P.C.Choi. Luen Yat Everwin was a NZ$85,000 yearling at the 2009 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka.
  • 4YO gelding Fighting Kite (Dubai Destination-Our Sharapova, by Fasliyev) won over 1300m for trainers P.C.Kan & K.C.Tse.
  • 7YO gelding Fortune Soldier (Way Of Light-Iminthemoodforlove, by Ziggy's Boy) won over 1300m for trainers A.Ngai & Y.C.Chan. Fortune Soldier was a $7,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale & subsequently a $27,500 2YO at the 2005 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Twiningoceanstarbo (Southern Image-Silkwood Star, by Woodman) won over 1050m for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf. Twiningoceanstarbo was a $20,000 yearling at the 2009 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Ka Wang Fortune (Falvelon-Whizcat, by Catrail) won over 1050m for trainer K.C.Chong.
  • 3YO gelding Elderly Paradise (Danewin-Kali Smytzer, by Zabeel) won over 1600m for trainer M.C.Tam. Elderly Paradise was a $21,000 yearling consigned by Glentree Downs as agent at the 2009 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Best World (Tobougg-Suzereine, by Kingston Rule) won over 1050m for trainer J.Lau. Best World was a $3,750 yearling at the 2009 Magic Millions National Sale.
