US Gr2-winning Vinery Stud shuttler & last year's US Champion 1st-Season sire Congrats (A.P.Indy-Praise, by Mr Prospector) added a US black-type success when his colt I'm Steppin It Up (Congrats-Cindy Woo Who, by Thunder Gulch) scored a half-length victory in the US$58,000 Listed Chief Tamanaco Stakes (8 furlongs) for 3YOs at Belmont Park. I'm Steppin It Up (ridden by Jeremy Rose for trainer Anthony Pecoraro) defeated fellow colts Bold Warrior (Bernardini-Hollywood Wildcat, by Kris S) & San Pablo (Jump Start-Hunt's Corner, by Silver Ghost). I'm Steppin It Up took his record to 4 wins (also including September’s Gr3 Kent Stakes over 9 furlongs at Delaware Park) & 6 placings (including September’s Listed Smarty Jones Classic over 8.5 furlongs at Philadelphia Park & June's Listed Floor Show Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Delaware Park, plus 2010's Gr1 Champagne Stakes over 8 furlongs at Belmont Park) from 15 starts for US$357,566 earnings.
