High Chaparral Adds German Gr3

In Germany overnight, dual Derby-winning shuttler & 6-time Gr1 victor High Chaparral (Sadler's Wells-Kasora, by Darshaan) added a juvenile group success when unbeaten colt Tai Chi (High Chaparral-Taita, by Big Shuffle) scored a 3.5-lengths victory in the €155,000 (A$212,000) Gr3 Preis Der Winterfavoriten (1600m) for 2YOs at Cologne. Tai Chi (ridden by Thierry Thulliez for trainer Werner Baltromei) defeated Irish-bred colt Amarillo (Holy Roman Emperor-Alte Kunst, by Royal Academy) & UK-bred colt Amaron (Shamardal-Amandalini, by Bertolini). Tai Chi now has 3 wins from 3 starts.
