Swettenham Stud shuttler & former Gr1-winning juvenile Hold That Tiger (Storm Cat-Beware Of The Cat, by Caveat) added a US black-type success when 4YO gelding Thats A Heckofacat (Hold That Tiger-Queenie's Revenge, by Native Uproar) scored a 4.25-lengths victory in the US$75,000 Listed Best Of Ohio Endurance Stakes (10 furlongs) at Thistledown in Ohio, to improve on his 3rd in this same race last year. Thats a Heckofacat (ridden by Scott Spieth for trainer William Cowans) defeated 10-year-old gelding Catlaunch (Noble Cat-Skilaunch, by Relaunch) & 5YO gelding Bold Captain (Bold Truth-Pyrite Captain, by Magesterial). Thats A Heckofacat took his record to 7 wins (also including 2010’s Listed Cleveland Gold Cup Stakes over 9 furlongs at Thistledown & Listed Howard Noonan Stakes over 6 furlongs at Beulah Park, plus both 2009's Listed Cleveland Kindergarten Stakes over 6 furlongs at Thistledown & Listed Juvenile Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Thistledown) & 3 placings (in September’s Listed Governor’s Buckeye Cup Stakes over 10 furlongs at Thistledown, plus 2010’s Listed Best Of Ohio Endurance Stakes over 10 furlongs at Thistledown & Listed Honey Jay Stakes over 6 furlongs at Thistledown) from 14 starts for US$229,223 earnings.
