Vinery Stud shuttler More Than Ready (Southern Halo-Woodman's Girl, by Woodman) added a group success when favoured 5YO mare More Joyous (More Than Ready-Sunday Joy, by Sunday Silence) scored by a short-neck in the $180,000 Gr2 Tristarc Stakes (1400m) for mares 4YO & up at Caulfield. Equal top-weighted More Joyous (ridden by Nash Rawiller for trainer Gai Waterhouse) defeated fellow 5YO mares Sister Madly (Redoute's Choice-Jade Tiara, by Bureaucracy) & equal top-weighted Response (Charge Forward-Live It Up, by Match Winner). More Joyous took her record to 15 wins (also including April’s Gr1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes over 1500m at Rosehill, March's Gr2 Canterbury Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill & both February's Gr1 Futurity Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield & Gr2 Breeders Classic over 1200m at Randwick, plus 2010's Gr1 Toorak Handicap over 1600m at Caulfield, Gr1 George Main Stakes over 1600m at Randwick, Gr2 Sebring Sprint over 1400m at Rosehill, Gr2 Surround Stakes over 1400m at Warwick Farm, Gr2 Light Fingers Stakes over 1200m at Randwick & Listed Sheraco Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill, as well as 2009's Gr1 Arrowfield Stud Flight Stakes over 1600m at Randwick & Gr2 Tea Rose Stakes over 1500m at Rosehill, in addition to 2008's Gr2 Perfect Vision Ilasik Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill) & 2 placings (in September’s Gr1 Manikato Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley& 2009's Listed Winning Edge Presentation Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill) from 21 starts for $2,400,250 earnings.
