Induna Wins Geelong Classic

Thursday, 20th October 2011

Former shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a black-type quinella when gelded son Induna (Elusive Quality-Camarena, by Danehill) notched his 2nd successive win in a fortnight with a decisive 3.5-lengths victory in yesterday’s $100,000 Listed Geelong Classic (2200m) for 3YOs. Induna (ridden by Kerrin McEvoy for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated the colts Cornell (Elusive Quality-Ivy League, by Doyoun) & Perfect Punch (Starcraft-Tayasu Run, by Tayasu Tsuyoshi). Induna (a brother-in-blood to the Snowden stable’s star sprinter Sepoy & a full brother to Gr1 AJC Sires Produce Stakes winner Camarilla) now has 2 wins & 2 placings (including September’s Listed Dulcify Handicap over 1900m at Rosehill) from 8 starts for $91,580 earnings.
