Magic Millions HIT Day-2: $220k Nadeem Colt

Friday, 21st October 2011

In the Australian auction ring, Macau-based brothers Nicholas & James Moore paid top price of $220,000 for a colt by Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes-winning 2nd-crop stallion Nadeem (the 2nd foal out of triple-winning 9YO King’s Best mare Seven Stars) during the closing session at the 2-day Magic Millions National Horses-In-Training Sale on the Queensland Gold Coast. The colt was consigned by Washpool Thoroughbreds & his dam Seven Stars is a half-sister to Monterosso (UK Gr2 Royal Ascot winner & Gr1 Dubai World Cup 3rd-placed). James Moore declared: “He's a cracking colt who is going to make a lovely 3YO. Hopefully he turns out to be a star when he heads to either Hong Kong or Macau.”
