In Malaysia, 10 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Selangor:

  • 6YO gelding Emperor Qian Long (Canny Lad-Judicial Queen, by Unbridled's Song) won over 1600m for trainer Luke Danis. Lucky Find was a $25,000 weanling at the 2007 Magic Millions Winter Sale, then a $40,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale & subsequently a $26,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Good Good Luck (Magic Albert-Our Impala, by Humam) won over 1200m for trainer Richard Lines. Good Good Luck was a $14,500 weanling consigned by Pine Lodge Thoroughbreds at the 2006 Magic Millions National Sale.
  • 7YO gelding Masquerain (Sandtrap-Irish Edition, by O'Reilly) won over 1200m for trainer Richard Lines. Masquerain was a $10,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale & subsequently a $100,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Carey Island (Arazi-Nice, by Last Tycoon) won over 1100m for trainer Osman Sidek.
  • 6YO gelding Agusan Del Norte (Sirius Slew-Kahuna Delago, by Encosta de Lago) won over 1600m for trainer Boon Lim. Agusan Del Norte was a $10,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Autumn Sale in Melbourne.
  • 5YO gelding Opportune Time (Royal Academy-Proposing, by Pentire) won over 1600m for trainer Richard Lines. Opportune Times was a $35,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
