Torah Wins Essendon Jeep Stakes

Shuttler Spinning World (Nureyev-Imperfect Circle, by Riverman) added a black-type success (& 43rd individual stakes-winner) when daughter Torah (Spinning World-Perisher Valley, by Devil's Bag) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the $100,000 Listed Essendon Jeep Stakes (1600m) for 3YO fillies at Moonee Valley. Torah (ridden by Luke Nolen for trainer Peter Moody) defeated top-weighted Bliss Street (Flying Spur-Jade Diva, by Jade Robbery) & Classic Elle (Reset-Mystic Elle, by Encosta De Lago). Torah (a $30,000 yearling consigned by Turangga Farm at the 2010 Inglis Scone Select Sale) now has 1 win & 4 placings (including May’s Listed Gibson Carmichael Stakes over 1600m at Flemington) from 7 starts for $95,400 earnings.
