4 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 4 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Happy Valley:

  • 4YO gelding Well Done (Commands-Twisted Heart, by Distorted Humour) won over 1200m for trainer Tony Millard. Well Done was a $120,000 yearling consigned by Yarraman Park as agent at the 2009 Magic Millions Premier Yearling Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Soldier (Encosta de Lago-Party Dancer, by Party Leader) won over 1200m at Sha Tin for Australian trainer David Hall. Soldier was a $200,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 6YO mare Healthy Contender (Aucash-Sharpfield, by Woodman) won over 1800m for trainer Derek Cruz.
  • 5YO gelding The Wand (Magic Albert-Centre, by Centaine) won over 1200m for Australian trainer John Size. The Wand was a $48,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
