4 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, 3 other Australian-bred horses (in addition to Rich Unicorn) scored at Sha Tin:

  • 3YO gelding Glory Horsie (Flying Spur-Hasna, by Snippets) won over 1200m for Australian trainer John Size. Glory Horsie was a $525,000 yearling consigned by Corumbene Stud at the 2010 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 3YO gelding Best Eleven (Charge Forward-Betsy Pie, by Redoute’s Choice) won over 1200m for trainer Tony Cruz. Best Eleven was a $170,000 yearling consigned by Glenlogan Park at the 2010 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.
  • 5YO gelding City King (Mossman-Chickabiddy, by Zeditave) won over 1400m for trainer Dennis Yip. City King was passed-in for $32,500 as a yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
