Dehere Adds US Black-Type

Former shuttler Dehere (Deputy Minister-Sister Dot, by Secretariat) added a US black-type success when 4YO mare Gleaming (Dehere-Cupid's Comet, by End Sweep) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the US$113,700 Listed Oklahoma Classics Distaff Sprint Stakes (6 furlongs) for fillies & mares at Remington Park. Gleaming (ridden by Clifton Berry for trainer Bret Calhoun) defeated fellow 4YO mares Vertical Vision (Pollard's Vision-Caney Creek, by Service Stripe) & Miss Natalie (Fistfite-It's The Berries, by Slew The Slewor). Gleaming (a US$52,000 yearling at the 2008 Keeneland September Sale) now has 6 wins & 4 placings from 12 starts for US$202,566 earnings.
