Elusive Quality Adds German Black-Type

Monday, 31st October 2011

Also in Germany overnight, former shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a black-type success when US-bred 3YO filly Etive (Elusive Quality-Firth Of Lorne, by Danehill) scored a 0.75-length victory in the €20,000 (A$27,000) Listed Grosser Preis Der Mehl-Mulhens Stiftung (1400m) for fillies & mares at Hannover. Etive (ridden by Fabrice Veron for trainer Henri-Alex Pantall) defeated 4YO mares Western Mystic (Doyen-Waleska, by Valanour) & Reine Heureuse (Big Shuffle-Reine Galante, by Danehill). Previously this year Etive finished runner-up in April’s French Listed Prix Aymeri De Mauleon (1600m) at Toulouse & 3rd in February’s French Listed Prix de La Californie (1500m) at Cagnes-sur-Mer; & last year she finished runner-up in France’s Listed Prix Des Sablonnets (1600m) at Nantes.
