French Fifteen Wins French Gr1 Criterium International

In France overnight, Gr1-winning & multiple Gr1-placed 9YO freshman stallion Turtle Bowl (Dyhim Diamond-Clara Bow, by Top Ville) added a Gr1 triumph when juvenile colt French Fifteen (Turtle Bowl-Spring Morning, by Ashkalani) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the €250,000 (A$338,000) Gr1 Criterium International (1600m) for 2YOs at Saint-Cloud. French Fifteen (ridden by Thierry Thulliez for trainer Nicolas Clement) defeated German-bred colt Pakal (Lord Of England-Perima, by Kornado) & UK-bred colt Bonfire (Manduro-Night Frolic, by Night Shift). French Fifteen was a €30,000 (A$41,000) yearling at the 2010 Arqana August Sale; overall he now has 5 wins (also including September’s Listed Criterium De L’Quest over 1650m at Craon) & 2 placings (including the Gr3 Prix Thomas Bryon over 1600m at Saint-Cloud on October 6) from 7 starts for €215,550 (A$291,000) earnings.
