Monday, 31st October 2011

In Germany overnight, deceased former Vinery Stud shuttler & in recent years permanently Australian-based stallion Red Ransom (Roberto-Arabia, by Damascus) added a juvenile black-type success when daughter Paraisa (Red Ransom-Praia, by Big Shuffle) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the Listed Grosser Preis Vom Gestut Burg Eberstein (1600m) for 2YO fillies at Hannover. Paraisa (ridden by Eduardo Pedroza for trainer Andreas Wohler) defeated UK-bred Enjoy The Life (Medicean-Accusation, by Barathea) & So Smart (Selkirk-So Squally, by Monsun). Previously this season Paraisa finished 3rd in the Gr3 Preis Der Winterkonigin (1600m) at Baden-Baden on October 9 & runner-up in September’s Listed Kronimus Rennen (1200m) at Baden-Baden.
