In Ireland, former shuttler Peintre Celebre (Nureyev-Peinture Bleue, by Alydar) added a black-type success when 3YO gelding Celebrity Sevi (Peintre Celebre-Sevi's Choice, by Sir Ivor) scored a half-length victory against older rivals in the €40,000 (A$54,000) Listed Carlingford Stakes (10.5 furlongs on all-weather) at Dundalk. Celebrity Sevi (ridden by Pat Smullen for trainer Dermot Weld) defeated 4YO mare Priombhean (Galileo-Tropical Lake, by Lomond) & 5YO gelding Super Say (Intikhab-Again Royale, by Royal Academy).
