Cox Plate Lure For So You Think
Moonee Valley Racing Club "is chasing dual winner So You Think to run in this year's Gr1 Cox Plate" reported The Herald-Sun. MVRC chief executive Michael Browell confirmed "negotiations would begin soon" with Coolmore, which owns now Irish-based former Australian superstar & 8-time Gr1-winning 5YO entire So You Think (High Chaparral-Triassic, by Tights) "to bring him back to Australia". Browell commented: "The club will go all out to get So You Think back. This year the club is celebrating 3 decades on from Kingston Town winning the 3rd leg of his Cox Plate trifecta & it would be great to have So You Think attempt to win his 3rd." So You Think (winner of the 2009 & 2010 Cox Plates when trained by Bart Cummings) has currently been entered for the US$10 million Gr1 Dubai World Cup (2000m) at Meydan on March 31.
