Inglis Melb Yearlings Final Average Down 8.3%

Tuesday, 1st May 2012

The final sale clearance finished at 82% & Inglis Melbourne director Peter Heagney commented: "Overall in this economic climate we were very satisfied with the result. The clearance rate was very pleasing & to be down less than 10% on average was better than many of the major sales this year. This year the sale was not divided into 2 sessions & therefore the average of $9,344 compared very favourably with the overall average of the 2 combined sessions last year of $10,190. Good, athletic, well presented yearlings met good competition & in many cases exceeded vendor's expectations."
