1st Winner For Freshman Shuttler Street Boss

In Italy overnight, Darley's multiple US Gr1-winning sprinter & 8YO freshman shuttler Street Boss (Street Cry-Blushing Ogygian, by Ogygian) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Catboss (Street Boss-Glorious Cat, by Tabasco Cat) scored on debut with a dead-heat victory over 1000m at the Capannelle in Rome for trainer Riccardo Menichetti. Catboss was a US$7,500 yearling at the 2011 Keeneland September Sale. Her sire Street Boss stands for US$15,000 at Jonabell Farm in Kentucky & is shuttling to stand the upcoming Australian breeding season at Darley's Northwood Park in Victoria for $11,000. On the track, Street Boss recorded 7 wins (including the Gr1 Bing Crosby Handicap, Gr1 Triple Bend Invitational Handicap & Gr3 Los Angeles Handicap) & 4 placings (including the Gr1 Breeders' Cup Sprint & Gr1 Ancient Title Breeders' Cup Stakes) from 13 starts for US$831,800 earnings.
