Smashing Glory Wins Argentina Gr1 Jorge De Atucha

Gr1-winning former Coolmore shuttler Honour And Glory (Relaunch-Fair To All, by Al Nasr) added an Argentine Gr1 triumph when juvenile daughter Smashing Glory (Honour And Glory-Smashing Cat, by Tale Of The Cat) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the Gr1 Gran Premio Jorge De Atucha (1500m) for 2YO fillies at Palermo. Smashing Glory (ridden by Jorge Ricardo for trainer Juan Carlos Etchechoury) defeated Sand Puce (Footstepsinthesand-Forty Purist, by Roar) & Bamba Jane (Johannesburg-Bamba Fitz, by Fitzcarraldo). Last month Smashing Glory also finished runner-up in Argentina's Gr1 Gran Premio Eliseo Ramirez (1400m) at San Isidro.
