Oratorio Adds Irish Black-Type

Tuesday, 8th May 2012

Triple European Gr1-winning Coolmore shuttler Oratorio (Danehill-Mahrah, by Vaguely Noble) added an Irish black-type success overnight when The Aga Khan's homebred colt Takar (Oratorio-Takarouna, by Green Dancer) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the €50,000 (A$62,000) Listed Tetrarch Stakes (7 furlongs) at the Curragh. Takar (ridden by Johnny Murtagh for trainer John Oxx) defeated the filly Coolnagree (Dark Angel-Win Cash, by Alhaarth) & fellow colt Triumphant (Danehill Dancer-Meek Appeal, by Woodman).
