2 Imports Arrive To Begin Melb Cup Campaigns

Meanwhile the 2 high class international horses acquired by BC3 Thoroughbreds to target the Melbourne Cup have arrived in Australia to join high profile stables. German-bred US star Sanagas & Argentine galloper Val Champ will complete 2 weeks post-arrival quarantine at Eastern Creek (outside of Sydney) before joining their new Australian trainers. US Gr1-winning 5YO Sanagas (winner of 7 from 11 starts) will join the Bart Cummings (who is chasing his 13th Melbourne Cup victory). And Gr2-winning 3YO Val Champ will join Anthony Freedman (who trained German import Lucas Cranach to finish 3rd in last year's Melbourne Cup) has passed the ballot for the Melbourne Cup for the next 2 years & will be aimed at several features during this year's Victorian Spring Racing Carnival.
