Prized Adds Sweden Black-Type

In Sweden, US multiple Gr1-winning former NZ Fayette Park shuttler Prized (Kris S-My Turbulent Miss, by My Dad George) added a black-type success when US-bred 8YO gelding Premio Loco (Prized-Crazee Mental, by Magic Ring) scored a half-length victory in the Listed Pramms Memorial (1730m) for 4YOs & up at Jagersro in Malmo. Premio Loco (ridden by George Baker for trainer Chris Wall) defeated front-running US-bred 4YO gelding Silver Ocean (Silver Train-Endless Sea, by Mt Livermore) & German-bred 5YO entire Empire Storm (Storming Home-Emy Coasting, by El Gran Senor). Premio Loco was a 19,000 guineas (A$29,500) yearling at the 2005 Tattersalls December Sale. Overall he now has 14 wins (also including March's UK Gr3 Winter Derby over 10 furlongs at Lingfield, plus 2011's Gr2 Park Stakes over 7 furlongs at Doncaster & both 2010's Gr2 Summer Mile over 8 furlongs at Ascot & Gr3 Criterion Stakes over 7 furlongs at Newmarket, as well as 2009's German Gr2 Grosse Europa-Meile over 1600m at Cologne, German Gr2 Oettingen-Rennen over 1600m at Baden-Baden, UK Listed On the House Stakes over 8 furlongs at Goodwood & UK Listed Ladybird Stakes over 8 furlongs at Kempton) & 6 placings (in 2011's Gr1 Lockinge Stakes over 8 furlongs at Newbury & Gr2 Joel Stakes over 8 furlongs at Newmarket, plus 2010's Gr1 Sussex Stakes over 8 furlongs at Goodwood & Gr2 Park Stakes over 7 furlongs at Doncaster, as well as both 2009's UK Gr3 Winter Derby over 10 furlongs at Lingfield Park & Listed Midsummer Stakes over 8 furlongs at Windsor) from 33 starts.
