Affable Wins Gibson-Carmichael Stakes

Monday, 21st May 2012

Unbeaten classic-winning Patinack Farm freshman stallion Husson (Hussonet-Villa Elisa, by Roy) added a juvenile black-type success (& 4th individual stakes-winner world-wide, as well as 2nd from his 1st Australian crop) when daughter Affable (Husson-Lady Gracious, by Redoute's Choice) scored a 3-lengths victory against the males in the $100,000 Listed Gibson-Carmichael Stakes (1600m) for 2YOs at Flemington. Affable (ridden by Mark Zahra for trainer John Thompson) defeated equal-top weighted & favoured fellow filly Donna Cattiva (Captain Rio-Nishaani, by Gold Brose) & the colt Subiaso (Testa Rossa-Cocodiva, by Carnegie). Affable took her record to 2 wins & 2 placings from 5 starts for $88,375 earnings. (Click on the link for full race details from Group Race Results at Arion Pedigrees.)
