Dubawi Adds UK Black-Type

Triple Gr1-winning former shuttler Dubawi (Dubai Millennium-Zomaradah, by Deploy) added a UK black-type success when Irish-bred colt Aljamaaheer (Dubawi-Kelly Nicole, by Rainbow Quest) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the £33,000 (A$53,000) Listed King Charles II Stakes (7 furlongs) for 3YOs at Newmarket. Aljamaaheer (ridden by Paul Hanagan for trainer Roger Varian) defeated fellow colts The Nile (Three Valleys-Delta, by Zafonic) & Irish-bred Balty Boys (Cape Cross-Chatham Islands, by Elusive Quality). Aljamaaheer was a 100,000 guineas (A$165,000) weanling at the 2009 UK Tattersalls December Sale. Overall he now has 2 wins from 3 starts for £22,354 (A$36,000) earnings.
