NZ-Bred Super Easy Wins Gr1 Singapore Guineas

NZ-bred colt Super Easy (Darci Brahma-Parfore, by Gold Brose) scored a 0.25-length victory to remain undefeated in Singapore in the S$500,000 (A$400,000) Gr1 Singapore Guineas (1600m) for 3YOs at Kranji (3rd leg of the Singapore 3YO Challenge). Super Easy (ridden by Joao Moreira for Australian trainer Michael Freedman) defeated fellow gelded Australian-bred stable-mate Cash Luck (Bradbury's Luck-Blue Celeste, by Geiger Counter) & gelding Shuttle Man (Taiki Shuttle (Shuttle Man-Sunday Kiss, by Sunday Silence. Super Easy (a NZ$140,000 yearling at the 2010 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka) took his Singapore record to 10 wins (also including April's Gr2 Singapore 3YO Classic over 1400m & Gr3 Singapore 3YO Sprint over 1200m, plus February's Gr3 Three Rings Trophy over 1400m & 2011's Gr2 E.W.Barker Trophy over 1400m) from 10 starts; as a 2YO in NZ, before heading to Singapore, Super Easy finished runner-up in the Gr3 Eclipse Stakes (1200m) at Ellerslie.
