Street Sense Adds US Black-Type

US 2006 Champion 2YO Colt & 2007 Gr1 Kentucky Derby-winning shuttler Street Sense (Street Cry-Bedazzle, by Dixieland Band) added a US black-type success (& 4th individual stakes-winner) when 3YO filly Sensible Lady (Street Sense-Awesome Lady, by Bianconi) scored a 2-lengths victory against older rivals in the US$100,000 Listed The Very One Stakes (5 furlongs on turf) for fillies & mares at Pimlico. Sensible Lady (ridden by Xavier Perez for trainer Timothy Salzman) defeated fellow 3YO filly Jazzy Idea (Great Notion-Jazz Band, by Dixieland Band) & 5YO mare Inspired (Unbridled's Song-Proposal, by Mt Livermore). Sensible Lady (a US$9,500 2YO at the 2011 Ocala Breeders April Sale) took her record to 4 wins & a placing from 8 starts for US$117,730 earnings.
