Oratorio Adds Italy Black-Type

In Italy, triple European Gr1-winning Coolmore shuttler Oratorio (Danehill-Mahrah, by Vaguely Noble) added a black-type success when Irish-bred colt Silent Killer (Oratorio-Pinky Mouse, by Machiavellian) scored a 2-lengths victory in the €34,200 (A$44,000) Listed Premio Tullio Righetti (1600m) for 3YOs at the Capannelle in Rome. Silent Killer (ridden by Fabio Branca for trainer Stefano Botti) defeated UK-bred fellow colt Saint Bernard (Three Valleys-Savignano, by Polish Precedent) & the gelding Super Test (Altieri-Mien Toujours, by Intikhab). Silent Killer took his record to 5 wins & 3 runners-up (including 2011's Listed Premio Giuseppe De Montel over 1500m at San Siro) from 11 starts for €65,772 (A$84,200) earnings.
