4-Time Gr1-Winner Campanologist Retired To German Stud

In Germany, Godolphin's 4-time Gr1-winning 7YO US-bred stallion Campanologist (Kingmambo-Ring Of Music, by Sadler's Wells) has been retired to stud & will stand at Gestut Fahrhof for the 2013 European breeding season. Campanologist (a Darley home-bred who finished 16th in the 2010 Gr1 Melbourne Cup) recorded 11 wins (including 2011's Italian Gr1 Gran Premio Del Jockey Club over 2400m at San Siro & German Gr1 Preis Von Europa over 2400m at Cologne, plus 2010's German Gr1 Rheinland-Pokal over 2400m at Cologne, German Gr1 Grosser Preis Von Lotto Deutschland Preis over 2400m at Hamburg & UAE Gr3 Dubai City Of Gold over 2485m at Meydan, as well as 2009's UK Gr3 Winter Hill Stakes over 10 furlongs at Windsor & both 2008's UK Gr2 King Edward VII Stakes over 12 furlongs at Royal Ascot & UK Listed Feilden Stakes over 9 furlongs at Newmarket) & 11 placings (including March's UAE Gr2 Dubai City Of Gold over 2410m at Meydan, plus 2011's Irish Gr1 Tattersalls Gold Cup over 10.5 furlongs The Curragh & Turkish Gr2 Bosphorus Cup over 2400m at Veliefendi, as well as 2010's Italian Gr1 Gran Premio Di Milano over 2400m at San Siro & UK Gr3 Arc Trial Stakes over 11 furlongs at Newbury, in addition to 2009's UK Gr2 Hardwicke Stakes over 12 furlongs at Royal Ascot, UK Gr3 Cumberland Lodge Stakes over 12 furlongs at Ascot, UK Gr3 Arc Trial Stakes over 11 furlongs at Newbury & UK Gr3 Rose Of Lancaster Stakes over 10.5 furlongs at Haydock, plus 2008's UK Gr2 York Stakes over 10 furlongs at York & UK Gr3 Derby Trial Stakes over 11.5 furlongs at Lingfield Park) from 36 starts for just over $1.6 million earnings.
