Front-running filly Contested (Ghostzapper-Gold Vault, by Arch) led all-the-way to blitz her rivals by 5-lengths in the US$300,000 Gr1 Acorn Stakes (8 furlongs) for 3YO fillies at Belmont Park. Contested (ridden by Javier Castellano for trainer Bob Baffert) defeated Zo Impressive (Hard Spun-Zoftig, by Cozzene) & Aubby K (Street Sense-Lilly Capote, by Capote). Contested (a US$110,000 yearling at the 2010 Keeneland September Sale) took her record to 4 wins (also including lat start's Gr3 Eight Belles Stakes over 7.5 furlongs at Churchill Downs) & a runner-up from 5 starts for US$324,754 earnings.
