Trainer Peter Snowden confirmed Gr1-winning & 7-times Gr1-placed 6YO mare Beaded (Lonhro-Subtle, by Night Shift) has been retired to stud following her unplaced run in last weekend's Gr1 Doomben 10,000 in Brisbane. Beaded recorded 10 wins (including 2011's Gr1 Doomben 10,000 over 1350m at Doomben & Gr3 Hyderabad Race Club Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield, plus 2010's Gr3 Darley BRC Sprint over 1350m at Doomben & Listed Wenona Girl Handicap over 1200m at Randwick, as well as 2009's Listed Yalumba Wines Cup over 1300m at Hawkesbury) & 13 placings (including this month's Gr1 BTC Cup over 1200m at Doomben & February's Gr2 NSW Thoroughbred Breeders Classic over 1200m at Warwick Farm, plus 2011's Gr1 Tattersall's Tiara over 1400m at Eagle Farm, Gr1 Stradbroke Handicap over 1400m at Eagle Farm, Gr1 Sportingbet Classic over 1200m at Morphettville & Gr1 Newmarket Handicap over 1200m at Flemington, as well as 2010's Gr1 All Aged Stakes over 1400m at Randwick, Gr1 Winter Stakes over 1400m at Eagle Farm, Gr2 Sapphire Stakes over 1200m at Randwick, Gr2 Salinger Stakes over 1200m at Flemington & Gr3 Birthday Card Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill) from 27 starts for $1,618,780 earnings.
