Magic Millions Select Weanlings Day-1: Average Up 45.6%

Overall on Day-1 at the Magic Millions National Select Weanling Sale, 146 lots sold for $4,767,000 (up 45.6% on last year's 130 sold for $3,275,000). The average of $32,651 was also up 45.6% (last year $22,432) & the clearance rate improved to 76% (last year 69%). Magic Millions managing director Vin Cox declared: "The figures speak for themselves. The average, gross & clearance rates are all up significantly on last year. It was a solid day's selling & it was positive to see horses sold across the country as well as overseas."
