Orientate Adds Canada Black-Type

Tuesday, 5th June 2012

Also in Canada, former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Orientate (Mt Livermore-Dream Team, by Cox's Ridge) added a black-type success when his colt River Rush (Orientate-Sweet Tart, by Lemon Drop Kid) came from last-in-running to thrash his rivals by 5.25-lengths in the C$145,000 Listed Plate Trial Stakes (9 furlongs on all-weather) for 3YOs at Woodbine. River Rush (ridden by James McAleney for trainer Reade Baker) defeated fellow colts Incredicat (Discreet Cat-Lady Auchamore, by Meadowlake) & Classic Bryce (Grand Slam-Classic Stamp, by Regal Classic). River Rush took his record to 1 win & 1 runner-up from 3 starts for C$100,598 earnings.
