Magic Millions National Yearlings Day-2: $160k Lonhro Filly

In the auction ring, Macau-based brothers Nicholas & James Moore (as agents for a Chinese buyer) paid top price of $160,000 for a filly by last season's Australian Champion Sire, former Australian Racehorse-Of-The-Year & 11-time Gr1-winning World Champion Miler Lonhro (the 3rd foal out of unraced 8YO Fusaichi Pegasus mare Paris Tryst) during yesterday's 2nd session at the 2-day Magic Millions National Select Yearling Sale on the Queensland Gold Coast. The filly was consigned by Tyreel Stud & her dam Paris Tryst (a daughter of Gr1 Melbourne Cup victor & 4-time Gr1-winning former Horse-Of-The-Year Let's Elope) is a half-sister to each of Gr2-winning & 4-time Gr1-placed sire Ustinov, 4-time-winner & stakes-placed Caught Courting, plus stakes-placed winner Yes I Will.
