Is It True Adds US Black-Type

Deceased former Heytesbury Stud shuttler Is It True (Raja Baba-Roman Rockette, by Proudest Roman) added a US black-type success when 5YO gelding Cainam (Is It True-Lady Sundari, by Late Act) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the US$75,000 Listed Cyclones Handicap (8.5 furlongs) at Prairie Meadows in Iowa to win this race for the 2nd successive year. Cainam (ridden by Glenn Corbett for trainer Lynn Chleborad) defeated fellow 5YO geldings Wings Of War (Kafwain-Devil's Wing, by Devil His Due) & Launch Light (Bright Launch-Velva, by Gold Legend). Cainam took his record to 8 wins (also including 2011's Listed Ralph Hayes Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Prairie Meadows & Listed Cyclones Handicap over 8.5 furlongs at Prairie Meadows, plus 2010's Iowa Breeders' Derby over 8.5 furlongs at Prairie Meadows & Listed Gray's Lake Stakes over 6 furlongs at Prairie Meadows) & 7 placings (including May's Listed John Wayne Stakes over 6 furlongs at Prairie Meadows & 2011's Listed John Wayne Stakes over 6 furlongs at Prairie Meadows) from 24 starts for US$375,983 earnings.
