Winning Debut By Manighar Half-Sister

In France, the half-sister to triple Gr1-winning & triple Gr1-placed 6YO gelding Manighar (Linamix-Mintly Fresh, by Rubiano) scored on debut when The Aga Khan's home-bred 3YO filly Mansera (Manduro-Mintly Fresh) won over 2400m at Compiegne for trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre. Her half-brother Manighar (5th in the 2011 Gr1 Melbourne Cup & 7th in the 2010 Gr1 Melbourne Cup) current boasts 10 wins (including April's Gr1 The BMW & both March's Gr1 Ranvet Stakes & Gr1 Australian Cup, plus February's Gr3 Carlyon Cup, as well as 2009's French Gr2 Prix Chaudenay, French Listed Prix Michel Houyvet & French Listed Derby De L'Ouest) & 10 placings (including May's Gr1 Doomben Cup, April's Gr1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes & February's Gr2 Peter Young Stakes, plus 2011's Gr2 Zipping Classic & UK Gr2 Yorkshire Cup, as well as 2010's Gr2 Patinack Farm Sandown Classic, French Gr2 Prix Kergorlay & UK Listed Tapster Stakes, in addition to 2009's French Gr1 Prix Royal-Oak & French Gr3 Prix De Lutece) from 29 starts for $3,513,412 earnings.
