Also in the UK overnight, the 1st foal from 2008 Gr1 English 1000 Guineas winner Natagora (Divine Light-Reinamixa, by Linamix) scored by 2.5-lengths on debut when Sheikh Hamdan's Shadwell home-bred 2YO filly Rayaheen (Nayef-Natagora) won over 6 furlongs at Nottingham for trainer Richard Hannon. Sheikh Hamdan purchased Natagora privately shortly before she was scheduled to sell at the 2008 UK Tattersalls December Sale. On the track during 2008, Natagora won the UK Gr1 1000 Guineas (8 furlongs) at Newmarket, as well as finishing 2nd in both France's Gr1 Prix de la Foret (1400m) at Longchamp & Gr1 Prix du Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard-Jacques le Marois (1600m) at Deauville, plus 3rd in both France's Gr1 Prix Du Jockey Club-French Derby (2100m) at Chantilly & Gr1 Prix Rothschild (1600m) at Deauville. And during 2007 she won the UK Gr1 Cheveley Park Stakes (6 furlongs) at Newmarket, plus 3 successive French stakes victories in the Gr2 Prix Robert Papin (1100m) at Maisons-Laffitte, Gr3 Prix du Bois (1000m) at Chantilly & Listed Prix La Fleche (1000m) at Longchamp, as well as finishing runner-up in France's Gr1 Darley Prix Morny (1200m) at Deauville.
