Most Improved Wins UK Gr1 St James's Palace

Ireland's Ballylinch Stud-based multiple Gr1-winning 8YO 2nd-crop stallion Lawman (Invincible Spirit-Laramie, by Gulch) added a UK Gr1 triumph overnight when Irish-bred colt Most Improved (Lawman-Tonnara, by Linamix) scored a 0.75-length victory in the £250,000 (A$400,000) Gr1 St James's Palace Stakes (8 furlongs) for 3YO colts at Royal Ascot. Most Improved (ridden by Kieren Fallon for trainer Brian Meehan) defeated fellow Irish-breds Hermival (Dubawi-Bibi Karam, by Persian Bold) & Gregorian (Clodovil-Three Days In May, by Cadeaux Genereux). Most Improved was a €65,000 (A$83,000) yearling at France's 2010 Arqana August Sale. Overall he now has 2 wins & 2 placings (including 2011's UK Gr1 Dewhurst Stakes over 7 furlongs at Newmarket) from 5 starts for £206,895 (A$331,000) earnings.
