Millionaire Prayer For Relief Moved To Steve Asmussen Stable

Friday, 3rd August 2012

US leviathan owner Ahmed Zayat of Zayat Stables has transferred millionaire earner Prayer For Relief from the stables of Bob Baffert to Steve Asmussen. By AP Indy sire-son Jump Start, the move to Amussen, according to thoroughbredtimes.com, "is to allow Prayer for Relief to run on more dirt tracks. The majority of tracks in California, where Baffert is based, have synthetic surfaces." Among the Zayat-owned horses still with Baffert  are last weekend's Gr1 Haskell winner Paynter, and star Triple Crown 3YO Bodemeister who finished a narrow 2nd in both the Gr1 Kentucky Derby & Gr1 Preakness Stakes after winning the Gr1 Arkansas Derby.
