NZ Jockey Bosson Relinquishes Singapore Licence

Thursday, 9th August 2012

Kiwi jockey Opie Bosson is moving from Singapore back to New Zealand as the result of "a family illness back home" according to thoroughbrednews.com.au. The situation "has prompted Opie Bosson to relinquish his licence with the Singapore Turf Club," after spending a little over 7 months "riding as a sponsored jockey for trainers Bruce Marsh and Mark Walker". During that period Bosson won 18 races including 3 feature events, headed by victory aboard Gingerbread Man in the Gr2 Stewards Cup.
