Monday, 13th August 2012

In Germany, triple European Gr1-winning Coolmore shuttler Oratorio (Danehill-Mahrah, by Vaguely Noble) celebrated a Gr1 triumph (his 2nd in Europe) when 4YO daughter Temida (Oratorio-Interim Payment, by Red Ransom) scored by 2-lengths for trainer M. Mintchev over 3YO colt Feuerblitz (Big Shuffle-Flamingo Island, by Acatenango) & 4YO entire Earl Of Tinsdale (Black Sam Bellamy-Earthly Paradise, by Dashing Blade) in the €155,000 Gr1 Grosser Preis Von Bayern (2400m) for 3YOs+ in Munich. Irish-bred Temida (a 13,500 guineas yearling at the 2009 UK Tattersalls October Sale) took her record to 4 wins & 3 placings from 10 starts. Her sire Oratorio (sold to South Africa's Avontuur Stud but still shuttling to Australia for 2012) now has 4 individual Gr1 winners.
