All Too Hard Options Open For Saturday
The 'Helsinge Express' powers into action again this weekend with the announcement that highly promising colt All Too Hard (Casino Prince-Helsinge, by Desert Sun) "has been nominated for two races at Saturday's Rosehill meeting as well as the [Listed] Vain Stakes at Caulfield [1100m]", according to racenet.com.au. With World Champion half-sister Black Caviar (by Eliza Park Stud's Bel Esprit) currently spelling following her Gr1 heroics in the UK and on the back of the weekend announcement of her defence of the Victoria Racehorse of the Year award, Hawkes Racing has "entered [All Too Hard] for both the Group III San Domenico Stakes (1100m) against the 3YOs and the Listed Starlight Stakes (1100m) against the older horses, both at Rosehill." All Too Hard, a sale-topping $1,025 million Inglis Easter yearling, was last seen when runner-up to undefeated Triple Crown-winning colt Pierro (Lonhro-Right Note, by Daylami) in the Autumn's Gr1 Champagne Stakes at Randwick. The San Domenico Stakes has attracted a hot field that includes Gr1 Golden Slipper runner-up Snitzerland (Snitzel-Monte Rosa, by Fraar), as well as 2012 Magic Millions winner Driefontein (Fastnet Rock-Follow Gold, by Export Price).
