Street Sense Adds US Black-Type

In the US, Darley's 2006 Champion 2YO Colt & 2007 Gr1 Kentucky Derby-winning shuttler Street Sense (Street Cry-Bedazzle, by Dixieland Band) added a black-type success when sophomore filly Sensible Lady (Street Sense–Awesome Lady, by Bianconi) scored by 2.75-lengths for trainer Timothy Salzman over fellow fillies Kiss In The Forest (Forest Wildcat–Hummingbird Kiss, by Smart Strike) & Spun Cap (Hard Spun–Capital Request, by Reprized) in the US$100,000 Listed Coronation Cup Stakes (5.5 furlongs) for 3YO fillies at Saratoga. A multiple Listed winner, Sensible Lady took her record to 7 wins (including the Listed Penn National Jenny Wade Stakes, Listed Colonial Buckland Stakes & Listed Pimlico The Very One Stakes) from 12 starts and US$274,330. Street Sense is standing the 2012 season at Darley Australia for $38,500.
