Stallion Running Stag (Cozzene–Fruhlingstag, by Orsini) has died in South Korea, where he has been since being sold in 2009. A triple Gr2 winner trained out of Epsom in the UK, 18YO Running Stag raced in England, France, the USA and Hong Kong during his 39 start career which netted 7 wins and over £1million in earnings. Runner-up to Jim and Tonic (Double Bed–Jimka, by Jim French) in the Gr1 Hong Kong Cup of 1999, he did the rounds as a stallion, starting in Kentucky before moving to Florida, Texas and Louisiana, before finally moving to South Korea. He is the sire of 10 stakes-winners, and his 286 runners have yielded 192 winners of 701 races.
