5th Winner For New Approach

Wednesday, 22nd August 2012

Boom first-season Darley stallion New Approach (Galileo-Park Express, by Ahonoora) added another 2YO winner when Cap o'Rushes (New Approach–Valley of Gold, by Shirley Heights) won on debut at Kempton in a 1600m juvenile maiden race. New Approach now has five winners from his first northern hemisphere crop after recently making history when becoming the first stallion since the introduction of Pattern racing to sire 3 individual Royal Ascot juvenile stakes winners in one season. His best foal is the unbeaten Gr2 Coventry Stakes winner Dawn Approach (New Approach–Hymn of the Dawn, by Phone Trick). New Approach won the 2008 Gr1 English Derby & also defeated older rivals in both the Irish Gr1 Champion Stakes & UK Gr1 Champion Stakes, as well as winning the UK Gr1 Darley Dewhurst Stakes & Irish Gr1 National Stakes. He stands this season for $33,000.
