Magic Albert Adds Hong Kong Gr3

In Hong Kong's first Group race of the new season, Yarraman Park sire Magic Albert (Zeditave-Sally Lou, by Salieri) added a group success when 7YO gelding Vital Flyer (Magic Albert-Elishir, by Spectacular Spy) scored by 0.75-lengths for trainer C.W.Chang in the HK$2.4 million Gr3 Sha Tin Sprint Trophy (1000m), over fellow Australian-bred 5YO gelding Captain Sweet (Fastnet Rock-Strega, by Lake Coniston) & Irish-bred 6YO gelding Able Speed (Compton Palace-Photo Flash, by Bahamian Bounty). Vital Flyer was a $100,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney & subsequently a $125,000 2YO at the 2007 Inglis Christmas Sale. He now has 4 wins & 6 placings from 31 starts.
